Hi guys! Hope your Monday’s are off to a not TOO stressful start and you have coffee in hand. I’m SO excited to share a special project I’ve been working on! My photographer, Lauren, and I have teamed up with Washed Ashore Adornments to create their newest look book!
I was introduced to Washed Ashore about a month and a half ago and was initially drawn to their pieces because of their beautiful, mermaid-like quality. (Who doesn’t want to be a mermaid when they grow up?) As you’ve seen from my past posts, I’m totally obsessed with dainty jewelry. I’ve been wearing their pearl choker and lariat nonstop and have received so many compliments. They’re delicate enough to layer, but gorgeous enough to stand alone. Definitely a win in my book! Another major perk is that they’re totally versatile.
I was lucky enough to sit down with designer, Larada Lamsam, to ask her a few questions about the brand. Growing up, Larada and her brother spent most of their free time at the beach. Because of the nature of her parent’s jobs, their family was constantly traveling and lived in Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and here, in California. Larada shared that the water was the one consistency in her in life and always gave her a sense of home. She started Washed Ashore as a way to share her love of the ocean with others. An important consideration she focused on when creating her line was sustainability.

Whether you’re looking for a souvenir from the sea or are just in the market for a unique piece of jewelry, this is definitely a brand to check out.
