It was actually a surprisingly cold day for spring so I was happy to have an excuse to wear a giant faux-fur jacket. (Also, thank G they just say fake in the name unlike pleather which brands try to make sound chic by calling it “vegan leather.”) I tend to gravitate toward basics so it was fun to wear such a bold piece. As it gets warmer I’ll try pairing it with my new One Teaspoon Bonita Shorts (!!!) and tall gladiator sandals.

It would be unnatural to have a post with bell bottoms and chunky wedges but no fringe. Now is the perfect time to shop for fringed items because 1. it’s perfect for summer and 2. you can never have enough! Sorry I couldn’t link the stuff from Forever21. It’s almost as hard to find things on their website as it is in their store. Going in there is like asking for a panic attack.
I swear I spend 98% of my time trying to find outfits that are as comfy as sweats but still give the vibe I care. The moment I touched this sweater I was in love. Also, for the record, it is just as soft as it looks. If you follow any fashion bloggers on Instagram you know that blush is big for spring. Blush is great because it’s basically just one more neutral to add to your wardrobe but it still gives you a hint of color. If you tend to get lost in a sea of black, white, and gray like me you should consider investing.
Ps- Quick gush! I did all of these photos with Ashley Hillsamer who is literally a one woman show. She’s a talented stylist and photographer (and has been my friend since high school.) Plus, she has the best style on the planet. If you haven’t already you should check out her portfolio here.
